Beautiful, emotive rendering of the piano version, Paul. This is a special piece that draws the listener into an intimate reflection moved by the ever important musical heartbeat. Bar 11 grabbed me. I appreciate how you adjusted tempo for the heartbeat to match (quarter to eighth) later in the piece. I’m curious what string library you used. Thank you for sharing this important work in both forms, equally as stirring and reflective.

Hi, Paul, I found this piece quite soothing with the repeated notes mimicking the heart beat. Your modulations are very gentle with the odd one to surprise the listener. You are so engaging as a pianist and enjoyed your camera angles. This is an excellent video. Bravo! I could also hear this piece as a string quartet. 😃🙏

Hey! I saw your post on the Facebook film group about how you couldn't add your link to that thread so I searched your name in RUclips. I like the use of the horns in the queen section to get that grandness feeling and how the motif comes back in a gentler form in the later scenes. Best of luck in the competition!

Quite an ethereal and earthly sound and feel to this which inspires me as a guitarist who composes original music that tells a story for my channel & uses similar visuals matched to the music that represents them so I like hearing music like yours since it brings very intriguing variety to the mood w/ some epic sounding strings that tie it all nicely together!
